Running Calculators & Training Tools

Pace, splits, training plans and heat adjusted targets. Built for runners in Malaysia, free to use, no sign up.

Most running calculators are built somewhere cold and flat. That is fine for the maths, less fine when you are trying to hold marathon pace in 32 degrees and 80 percent humidity on a Sunday morning in Shah Alam. These tools cover the standard calculations every runner needs, plus a few that are specific to running here.

Everything below runs in your browser and costs nothing. If you are new to structured training, work down the page in order: find your pace, check what that pace predicts at other distances, then turn it into a plan.

Pace & time

Work out how fast you ran, or how fast you need to run.

Pace Calculator

Turn any distance and finish time into pace per km, pace per mile and speed.

Best for: Working out what pace you actually ran, or what pace a goal time needs. Open tool →

Split Time & Pace Band

Break a goal finish time into every kilometre split, ready to print.

Best for: Race week, when you want a pace band on your wrist instead of doing maths at km 30. Open tool →

Race Time Predictor

Predict your finish time at another distance from one recent race result.

Best for: Setting a realistic goal before you register. Open tool →

Training plans

Turn a goal race into a week-by-week plan and the right paces.

VDOT Calculator

Get your Easy, Marathon, Threshold, Interval and Repetition paces from a race time.

Best for: Knowing how fast each type of training run should actually be. Open tool →

Training Plan Generator

Build a week-by-week running plan around your goal race and current fitness.

Best for: Anyone who has registered for a race and does not know what to do on Monday. Open tool →

Jadual Lari Generator

Jana jadual latihan lari mingguan ikut level anda. Dalam Bahasa Melayu.

Best for: Pelari yang lebih selesa baca jadual latihan dalam Bahasa Melayu. Bahasa Melayu Open tool →

Malaysian conditions

Heat, humidity and hydration, adjusted for running here rather than in Europe.

Heat & Humidity Pace Adjuster

Convert a goal pace into a realistic target for the temperature and humidity you are actually running in.

Best for: Anyone using a training plan or goal time that was not written for the tropics. Open tool →

Sweat Rate & Hydration Calculator

Work out your sweat rate and roughly how much you need to drink per hour.

Best for: Long runs and any race over 90 minutes in Malaysian conditions. Open tool →

Find a race

Match a race to the distance, state and month you actually want.

Race Finder

Answer four questions and get races that match your distance, state and month.

Best for: Knowing you want to race but not which one to enter. Open tool →

Course Difficulty Checker

Read elevation from a race GPX file and rate how hard the course actually is.

Best for: Deciding whether a course is a PB course or a survival course. Open tool →

Common questions

Which calculator should I start with?

Start with the Pace Calculator if you just want to know how fast you ran. If you already have a recent race result and want to know how to train, go to the VDOT Calculator. If you have a race date locked in, the Training Plan Generator is the one that turns that date into weekly sessions.

Are these tools free?

Yes. Every calculator and generator on Lesgo.my is free and needs no sign up. Nothing is stored on our side unless you choose to save a plan to your account.

Do these paces work in Malaysian heat and humidity?

The standard calculators assume temperate conditions, which is why a pace that feels fine on paper can fall apart at 10am in Klang Valley. Use the Heat and Humidity Pace Adjuster to convert a goal pace into something realistic for the conditions you are actually running in.

What is VDOT?

VDOT is a single number that represents your current running fitness, derived from a recent race result. Coaches use it to set training paces so that easy runs stay genuinely easy and hard sessions land in the right intensity band.

How accurate is the race time predictor?

It is a good starting point, not a promise. Predictions hold up best when the race you enter is recent, run at full effort, and at a distance close to the one you are predicting. Predicting a marathon from a 5K time will almost always be optimistic.

Can I use these for trail races?

Pace based tools assume relatively flat road running. For trail and hill races the numbers will read faster than what you can actually hold, so treat them as a ceiling rather than a target.
