The Penang Hill Heritage Forest Challenge 2025 is the 10th annual eco-trail running event, taking place on 17 August 2025 at Penang Youth Park (Padang Serbaguna), Georgetown. Runners can choose between a 15 km or 7 km route that winds through Penang Hill’s lush UNESCO Biosphere Reserve—testing endurance on trails like Moon Gate, jeep tracks, Tunnel and Viaduct Roads before finishing at the Angsana Stage atop Penang Hill. Open to participants aged 15 and above, this event combines fitness, conservation awareness, and eco-tourism to foster appreciation for the region’s natural heritage.
