The Malaysian Pharmacists Society (MPS) is Malaysia’s national professional body for pharmacists, established in 1967 (formerly known as the Malaysian Pharmaceutical Society). With a mission encapsulated by the motto “Berkhidmat Untuk Kesihatan Rakyat” (“Service Towards a Healthy Society”), MPS champions the standards, ethics, and professional interests of its members. The society offers a broad range of memberships—from undergraduates to fellows—supports continuing professional development (CPD), publishes the Malaysian Journal of Pharmacy, and organizes flagship events like the National Pharmacists Convention. It also plays an active advocacy role in national health policy, healthcare innovation, and pharmacist-led services in both public and private sectors.
